The ruins of a once-great palace, the City of Ghosts is a monument to a forgotten doom. Its towers still stand, their spires piercing the darkness like the ribs of a long-dead beast, but its streets belong to the chittering horrors that ended its reign. The few adventurers who have returned tell of vast halls thick with webs, of black carapaces shifting in the shadows, and of an eerie silence broken only by the skittering of too many legs.
